About This Opportunity

As an RMA Repair Technician, the successful incumbent will have electronics manufacturing experience with both surface mount and through-hole component technologies.  You specialize in rework, repairing, and building of various assemblies at various levels of completion with good hand, eye coordination with these technologies.  You will have good repair experience, and soldering skills to perform RMA repair jobs and excellent understanding and ideally training in IPC soldering standards and J Standard soldering.


The primary responsibilities and duties include; but are not limited to:

Conduct quality control for all MRI RMA products to meet commercial standards and customer satisfaction

Final testing for all MRI RMA products in finished goods condition and upgrades

Report any defective parts to RMA Repair Database

On-site customer support service as needed

Repair, assemble, and test electronic products (LED display modules, controllers, etc.)

Performs in-line inspection, using magnifying devices to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards

Soldering, desoldering preparation, cleaning of surface mount and through-hole components, pads, etc. following IPC 610 and J-STD-001 criteria
